Platinum Capital Management Limited has appointed Simon Murphy as Regional Director for Africa. Murphy will operate from the Africa and Middle East regional office, based in United Arab Emirates.
Murphy’s responsibilities will be to maintain Platinum’s presence throughout Africa, building on existing relationships with regional banks and key intermediaries. Platinum strives to offer up to date innovative funds and products which meet the exacting requirements of its customers.
From 1999, he was employed by HSBC Bank Middle East, where he was recruited to launch HSBC’s wealth management proposition in the United Arab Emirates, dealing with high net individuals. Previously he has worked for Friends Provident.
