Piper Jaffray Ltd., UK subsidiary of Piper Jaffray Companies, has added three technology investment bankers, extending the firm’s investment banking platform into the technology sector.

“Building on our successful health care platform, we are thrilled to add investment banking capabilities dedicated to the technology sector,” says David Wilson, CEO of Piper Jaffray Ltd. “These three individuals will be a tremendous asset to servicing the needs of our clients as we continue our expansion into new sectors in London in which we also have industry expertise in the United States.”

Xavier Moreels was named managing director and European head of the technology investment banking team. He joins Piper Jaffray from ING, where he was based in London as the global head of technology corporate finance.

Nigel Daly, who was appointed principal, also joins the firm from ING Corporate Finance, where he was a director.

Peter Del Favero, the new vice president, was recently part of ING’s technology corporate finance team in London.
