Ivy Asset Management, the Bank of New York-owned hedge fund of funds and alternative investment management firm with over $15 billion in assets, has announced that Peter D. Noris has been named Chief Investment Officer, a new position, effective February 14. Prior to joining Ivy, Noris was Chief Investment Officer of North star Financial Services, which was founded in 2005. From 1995 to 2004, he held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of AXA Equitable.
