The agency securities lending group at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW)in New York announced yesterday that they had appointed Peter Bassler as head of US Marketing and Client Management.
In this new role, Bassler will report to David Martocci, global co-head of Agency Lending, who is based in New York.
Bassler joins DrKW from sister company Allianz Dresdner Asset Management in New York. Like many of his new colleagues, Bassler had previously spent seven years at Deutsche Bank in New York in various client and relationship management roles. Commenting on the appointment, David Martocci said: “We are delighted that Pete is joining the team. His broad range of experience in asset management and capital markets will prove invaluable in today’s changing environment in securities lending.”
