Pershing, BNY Mellons prime brokerage division, is planning a series of upgrades this year of its investor access software NetExchange Client.

The new version of the software will have a streamlined user interface and screen presentation, with access to core account management and trading capabilities through a variety of browsers, as well as an improved login process with multi-layer security, the company says.

Users will be able to view Pershing-affiliate Albridges Wealth Reporting feature through sign-on integration, control the level of tools they wish to offer to investors through the software and access NetExchange on a wide variety of devices, including through apps on the iPhone and iPad.

We are committed to giving investment professionals the tools to service the needs of their clients and position themselves for success, says Lucille Mayer, co-CIO of Pershing. The next generation of our NetExchange Client platform was developed based on feedback from investment professionals and detailed research about how investors access and leverage their account information online. Investors are demanding more information, richer content, and the ability to access data and make decisions at their computers and on their mobile devices. The new platform allows firms and investment professionals to offer their clients powerful features, in an intuitive, secure, sophisticated and integrated online package.
