Parker Global Strategies, an alternative investment strategist for funds of hedge funds, is opening a new Asian office, to build its investor base and support its research efforts.
“Asia has always represented a very important area for us, both in terms of our investors and the hedge fund managers to whom we allocate,” says Virginia Parker, founder of Parker Global. “We are happy to be on the ground, having a stake there is invaluable.”
Lisa Johnson will head the office as vice president for marketing and client services, focusing on building investor relationships in Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan.
