Newton Investment Management has appointed Pamela Cowling as business development manager to its Private Investment Management division.

Cowling reports to Ruth Murphy, head of Business Development.

In her new role Cowling will drive the Scottish growth of Newtons private client business, which manages investments on behalf of private clients, charities and individual pensions.

Prior to joining Newton, Cowling worked as a client relationship manager for a subsidiary of BNY Mellons Asset Servicing business, providing performance measurement and analytical services to financial institutions throughout Scotland, London, the Netherlands and the Nordic regions. Previous experience also includes four years at The London Stock Exchange.
