OneChicago, has reported that 352,591 security futures contracts traded at the Exchange in August.
Average daily volume (ADV) in August 2007 was 15,330 contracts. YTD volume stands at 6,202,139 – a 40 percent increase from the same period in 2006.
Open interest stood at 811,230 contracts in August 2007.
The Exchange lists 493 futures on single stocks, five Exchange Traded Funds including 1 ETF of the 100 share size, and four ETFs of the 1,000-share size, as well as 10 OneChicago Select Indexes, a series of customer-designed narrow-based security index futures.
