OneChicago has listed 10 new single stock futures for trading, starting on Monday. The new listings are the first of up to 40 new single stock futures scheduled for launch this summer.
The 10 new stock futures available for trading Monday are Allstate Corp, Advanced Micro Devices Inc., Boston Scientific Corp., Electronic Data Systems Corp., EMC Corp., Eli Lilly and Co., Freddie Mac, Schering-Plough Corp., Viacom Inc. and Williams Companies Inc.
On Monday the Exchange will have available for trading a total of 119 different security futures: 104 single stock futures, including futures on the DIAMONDS Trust, and 15 futures on the Dow Jones MicroSector IndexesSM.
Each single stock futures contract is equivalent to 100 shares of the underlying stock or exchange-traded fund.
