Nordic stock exchange and trading technology group OMX says the owners of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange have invited the company to join discussions on how OMX can “contribute to [the] enhanced efficiency, liquidity and visibility of the Slovenian capital market.” Discussions include a potential acquisition as well as other forms of cooperation. The background to the invitation is the OMX offer to acquire all issued shares of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange. It expired last week without any shareholders having adopted a definitive position.
