Olivier Leroy Takes Charge of Mutual Funds at CDC Ixis

CDC Ixis announced today that Olivier Leroy had been appointed Director of the Services to Fund Managers Agency, where he will be in charge of investor services, middle office and regulatory compliance, within the Custody Services Division of CDC IXIS.

CDC Ixis announced today that Olivier Leroy had been appointed Director of the Services to Fund Managers Agency, where he will be in charge of investor services, middle-office and regulatory compliance, within the Custody Services Division of CDC IXIS.

The unit Leroy will run within the Custody Services department – itself part of CDC IXIS Banking Services and Securities – deals with over 700 mutual fund (OPCVM)clients, providing them with subscription/buy-back, custody, banking and NAV calculation services.

A graduate from HEC business school in 1985, the 39-year-old Leroy began his career with Sybel Informatique, a leading financial software editor, as a Consultant before becoming Head of the Capital Markets division. In 1992, he joined Credit National, a major French financial institution as Head of the Capital Markets Operations back-office, within the Treasury and Finance Division. In 1995, he was appointed Head of Mutual Funds Control for Natexis Banque, the bank created through the merger of Credit National and BFCE. Olivier Leroy was taken on in 1997 at Caisse des Dpts et Consignations (CDC) where he was responsible for Treasury and Forex. Then, at the beginning of 2001 with the creation of CDC IXIS he took the responsibility of Derivative Product Operations (back-office) for the bank.
