BNY Mellon Asset Servicing has picked up the mandate for Ohio State University’s $1.9 billion Long Term Investment Pool. The previous custodian was State Street.

According to David Gilmore, Director of Investments for the University, BNY Mellon was chosen for the quality of services offered and its interface.

BNY Mellon will provide custody and accounting, plus performance and risk analytics services, as well as administrative support for the universitys private equity program.

The Ohio State University has more than 4,000 endowment funds that provide student scholarships, support outstanding teachers and researchers, fund new facilities. Endowed gifts to Ohio State are invested in the universitys Long-Term Investment Pool.
