Investment News is reporting that the NYSE Group, the parent of the New York Stock Exchange, has seen a 41 percent increase in revenues of its member firms.

They also saw a 230 percent increase in profits compared to the year-earlier period. Profits increased to USD4.92 billion during the fourth quarter of 2006.
