National Settlement Depository (NSD) has signed an agreement on information interactions with Kazakhstan’s IRBIS Information Agency of Financial Markets LLC (IRBIS).

In accordance with the signed agreement IRBIS is to provide to NSD the information about legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan (including further amendments to the legal acts) regulating Kazakh securities market; Kazakhstan Stock Exchange’s (KASE) current issuers; securities listed in KASE; media articles covering current situation in Kazakhstan’s securities market.

Information received from IRBIS within the framework of the signed agreement is to be placed on NSD’s Web site (section “Issuers and Securities of the Republic of Kazakhstan”). Starting March 1, Russian securities market participants get an access to information about Kazakhstan’s issuers, their securities and Kazakh regulatory environment.

The signed agreement is aimed at development of information interchange between Russia’s and Kazakhstan’s securities markets; at formation of conditions for development of integrated, liquid, transparent and efficient stock market of two countries; and at creation of the investor friendly information environment, NSD says. The conclusion of the agreement goes in line with cooperation within the framework of the Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories (AECSD) and represents the next step toward formation of the integrated information space in our countries’ stock markets.
