Russia’s central securities depository National Settlement Depository (NSD) has launched a pre-LEI (legal entity identifier) portal for providing data associated with pre-LEIs assigned by NSD.
The NSD has created a website, www.lei-code.ru, to access the portal, which will also have updated information about these identifiers to market participants, regulators and other pre-Local Operating Unites (pre-LOUs).
This information, which reflects the previous day, is provided daily in the form of files available for uploading onto external databases and through an internal database that allows users to find information about the market participants using their pre-LEIs or using their names to find the identifiers.
The daily files are provided in the format approved by the Regulatory Oversight Committee (ROC), says NSD.
