The National Securities Commission (NSC) has authorised the activity of the Central Securities Depository (CSD). According to this NSC Decision, the CSD is taking over all obligations regarding the depository and registry services provided by independent registries, by the SNCDD and the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE). All these services were provided based on the agreements signed by the listed companies with these registries.
The CSD has the obligation to conclude agreements with those companies listed and traded on the regulated markets or alternative regulated markets.
Independent registries, such as SNCDD and BSE, have to submit to the CSD all necessary information regarding the consolidated registries. The BSE will not process any amendment in the registry for shareholders identification, beneficial ownership changes, legal pledges, capital increases or decreases and any others registry services anymore.
