Northern Trust has released an upgraded version of the Investment Risk and Analytical Services (IRAS) tools on its web portal, Passport, which is designed to be more user-friendly.
“The IRAS Dashboard offers a range of historical and forward-looking analytical options to support the management information needs of key stakeholders in the investment process,” says Paul d’Ouville, head of product management at Northern Trust. “Through a highly flexible platform, chief investment officers and operations, performance, risk and compliance executives can define key portfolio snapshots of the information necessary to manage institutional plan investments.”
The IRAS Dashboard allows clients to select from hundreds of industry measurements of daily and monthly portfolio performance, attribution, risk measures, and key characteristics utilizing the available chart and table templates. In addition to presentation of this data in the client’s desired format, the Dashboard provides seamless access to in-depth analysis that examines portfolio or index data in an absolute or benchmark-relative form to the security level.
“With asset managers and asset owners busier than ever absorbing increased levels of information each day, clients need to quickly access and effectively analyze their investment information,” says Jim Haran, IRAS product manager at Northern Trust. “With the design of the new IRAS Dashboard, we have improved our clients’ access to the information they need to make timely investment decisions.”
