Northern Trust Global Investments’ (NTGI) Transition Management Group has reported a 73% increase in total assets transitioned between January to December 2004 compared to the same period in 2003. NTGI has also announced that the total number of transition management assignments it undertook and completed in 2004 was up 26% over the same period the previous year.

“The Group’s exceptional performance is attributable to larger transitions across global equity and fixed income asset classes, a higher frequency of transition assignments coming our way generally, and our strong relationship and important cross-sell channel with clients of Northern Trust’s asset servicing business,” Kevin Hardy, global head of Transition Management at NTGI, said.
