Northern Trust Bank FSB- Georgia is expanding its operations by introducing private banking services in Atlanta.
“We’re very excited and proud to introduce private banking services to our current and future clients who know us for performing with a high degree of excellence and for our unparalleled commitment to their financial success,” said Bob Meier, Northern Trust President and CEO-Georgia. “Atlanta has been our home for two years and as we continue to grow and expand here, so too will our financial services to meet the needs of our clients.”
Northern Trust began operations in Atlanta with the acquisition of registered investment advisory firm Legacy South two years ago. Since the acquisition, the firm has nearly doubled its assets under management and tripled local staff dedicated to delivering personal financial services.
Further to the move, the firm has hired Shellee Spagnoletto to head up its new private banking services. She will be responsible for providing private banking, cash management and lending services. Spagnoletto brings more than 20 years of financial services industry experience. She has worked as a private banker, private banking team leader and an investment management advisor for such financial institutions as Chase Manhattan Bank of Florida, First Union, Wachovia and SouthTrust. She earned her B.A. degree in Business Management from the University of South Florida. She has earned a Certified Financial Planner (CFP(R)) designation and holds Series 7, 63 and 66 Securities Licenses, and a Life and Accident Insurance License.
The new operation will set up shop at 3282 Northside Parkway.
