New performance and analysis tools are available online. Among them is upgraded version of Fundamentals that now provides access to internal rate of return (IRR) measures and on-the-fly analysis of the funding status and growth of private markets assets, including private equity and real assets. Other significant features of Fundamentals are Sterling ratio and Calmar ratio, maximum drawdown, upside variance, skew-ness – sophisticated metrics that more accurately portray hedge fund performance.
Private Monitor(TM) brand of premium private equity investor services is strengthed with Private i(R) 5.0, by the Burgiss Group. The package includes the Burgiss Group’s browser-based application, Private Informant(R), a “look-through” reporting of partnership company holdings. Clients can track and analyze performance, and obtain ad hoc reports on various internal rate of return analyses, modified internal rate of return (under varied assumptions), funding and distribution ratios, and benchmark internal rate of return analysis.
New Northern Trust’s performance analysis service is delivered via Passport(R), Northern Trust’s online data platform.
