Northern Trust has hired Sean Fernley as a Senior Relationship Manager in its Global Fund Services (GFS) group, that provides custody and fund administration to fund managers. Fernley’s appointment follows that of Paul Harwood, who joined Northern Trust in February 2006. Both are based in London.

Fernley joins from BNP Paribas Securities Services, where he was a Relationship Manager. Prior to this he worked as Client Services Manager and Relationship Manager at RBC Global Services. Fernley also gained operational experience at Lloyds TSB Securities Services.
Harwood also joins Northern Trust from BNP Paribas Securities Services, where he spent five years as a Global Relationship Manager overseeing asset management relationships across multiple jurisdictions.
