Northern Trust has hired Maarten Roeleveld as Sales Manager for The Netherlands, responsible for selling the complete range of Northern Trust’s asset servicing capabilities into the Dutch institutional investor market.
Roeleveld will be based in Amsterdam. He joined Northern Trust on 1st July 2008, filling the position previously held by Eric Pouwels. Pouwels’ promotion to managing director of Northern Trust’s Amsterdam office was announced in April 2008.
“Northern Trust has a strong track record in the Dutch market going back over 20 years. Maarten will have an important role in continuing to build on our success to date as we see opportunities to position our leading capabilities to meet the requirements of Dutch investors,” says Pouwels.
Roeleveld brings eight years’ experience in sales management roles to Northern Trust. He joins from Ordina Business Process Outsourcing B.V. where he was a Business Development Manager for three years, involved with Ordina’s Retail Fund Administration Platform. Previously, he worked for ING-Fundix as a business manager.
