Northern Trust has hired Edwin Parker, former managing director of fund administrator Butterfield Fulcrum, as part of its alternatives business development team across the U.K., Ireland, Luxembourg and Channel Islands.
Parker will focus on Northern Trust’s hedge fund administration services and its specialist private equity, infrastructure, and real estate fund administration services to fund managers across the region.

Before working at Butterfield Fulcrum, Parker spent 12 years at SS&C Hedge Fund Services where he was business development manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Northern Trust has about $250 billion in assets under administration across real estate, private equity, infrastructure, hedge fund and fund of hedge funds globally.
