Northern Trust has secured the acquisition of equity brokerage firm Aviate Global LLP subject to regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
The resulting business will be incorporated into Northern Trust’s current brokerage offerings.

It is hoped that the acquisition will provide a greater local trading and servicing presence in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.
