Northern Trust Appoints Dual Executives as Heads of Foreign Exchange

Northern Trust is appointing William Huber and Mark Gossett as co-heads of Global Foreign Exchange.

The two will replace Peter Gloyne, Northern Trusts current head of Foreign Exchange, who is retiring after 18 years.

Currently the chief dealer of the companys Foreign Exchange division, Huber has been with the company for 23 years. Gossett, currently executive vice president, has been with the company for 29 years and has held a variety of positions, including chief risk officer, COO of global investments and CFO of the international segment of the companys Corporate and Institutional Services division.

Huber will remain in Chicago, where he is currently based, while Gossett will relocate to London. The changes will be effective July 2. Both co-heads will report to Steven Fradkin, president of Corporate and Institutional Services at Northern Trust.
