Northern Trust has announced the appointment of Jeffrey W. Conover to President and Chief Executive Officer of The Northern Trust Company, Canada, as well as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of NT Global Advisors, Inc. Based in Toronto, Conover is responsible for all of Northern Trust’s operations in the Canadian market.

With over two decades of experience in the institutional asset servicing business, Conover has been highly successful in running and establishing locations around the world for Northern Trust, including opening the company’s first office in Singapore, and extending his leadership in that region to include Northern Trust’s Hong Kong subsidiary. He has also held overseas management positions for Bank of New York and Chase Manhattan Bank.
