On Friday (28 May) the NOREX Exchanges – Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen and Reykyavik – experienced technical problems that affected members trading on the cash market.
The markets closed down shortly after 12 noon CET, and trading did not resume until 14:15 CET. Disturbance messages were sent continuously to the market from 12:10 CET until 14:00 CET, when it was announced that the trading would be resumed.
NOREX exchanges are continuing to investigate the cause of the incident in order to prevent similar incidents. SEB in Stockholm reports that the links to the exchange are working normally this morning.
