The board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York has engaged the executive search firm of Korn/Ferry International to assist the board search for a replacement to Timothy F. Geithner, the president and chief executive officer. Geithner has been named by President-elect Barack Obama as Treasury Secretary-designate.
