New York Broker-Dealer Selects OMS From SS&C

Equity research firm and broker-dealer Monness, Crespi, Hardt & Co. (MCH) has selected SS&C MarketTrader from SS&C Technologies as its new order management system (OMS).

MCH, based in New York, selected SS&C after reviewing OMS suppliers and determining that SS&C MarketTrader had the right combination of features, functionality, and integration with other service providers. SS&C’s “willingness to get the job done” also had an influence, says Neil Crespi, president at MCH.

“A smooth transition to a new order management provider was extremely important to us as our OMS is the lifeblood of our business,” he says. “We couldn’t afford to be down for a minute and the team at SS&C did a great job in getting us up and running without missing a beat. The client service team handled all of our questions and needs quickly and efficiently and went the extra mile to ensure the transition went smoothly with our traders and most importantly our clients.”
