Nominations are now being accepted for the newly launched innovation awards which have been created to recognize banks and corporations that have demonstrated innovation in the use of technology.
The awards feature two main categories the Ambit Innovation Award for the Bank of the Future and the AvantGard Innovation Award for Collaborative Financial Management. Nominations for the awards can be made online at www.sungard.com/sibos. SunGard customers wishing to be considered should submit their entries by 9 September 2008. The award winners will be announced on 16 September at Sibos 2008 in Vienna, Austria.
The Ambit Innovation Award for the Bank of the Future recognizes banks that have made significant advances in customer service, as well as improvements in the control of risk, operations and capital. The AvantGard Innovation Award for Collaborative Financial Management acknowledges corporate treasurers that foster collaboration and strong cash flow management across their entire ecosystem of suppliers, buyers and trading partners. Each award will go to the organization that best illustrates how they have leveraged technology and best practice to make these advances.
