Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) has named a new global head of sub-custody network management following a reshuffle.

In the role, Massimiliano Notarianni will be responsible for SGSS’ custody relationships across the globe.

He will also focus specifically on client requirements in terms of asset protection, market information and intelligence.

Formerly head of provider monitoring and change, Notarianni will now report to Didier Rolland, global head of securities banking operations and has replaced Mathilde Guérin who has been appointed deputy head of product engineering.

Societe Generale’s Global Transaction Banking (GTB) division has also appointed Jean-François Mazure as head of cash clearing services.

Mazure replaces the retiring Emmanuel de Bouard who will leave in the coming weeks.
Previously co-head of cash clearing services Mazure will focus on the development of the correspondent banking business.

In his new role Mazure will report to newly appointed head of GTB Benoît Desserre.

“Jean-François’ experience in the Societe Generale group, and more recently as co-head of cash clearing services alongside Emmanuel de Bouard, will play an important role in developing our correspondent banking activities internationally in line with our clients’ needs,” states Benoit Desserre.

Desserre himself was appointed as global head of global transaction banking and deputy head of global transaction and payment services (GTPS), yesterday replacing Christian Behaghel who has decided to retire.
