As of Friday 14 March, a new ETF on a European money market index has been tradable on Xetra.
This Lyxor fund tracks the performance of the EuroMTS EONIA Investable Index. The index charts the average interest rate charged among European banks for short-term borrowing.
The Euro Overnight Index Average (EONIA) and the EURIBOR (European Interbank Offered Rate) are the two money market reference rates for the euro area. The annual management fee for the index fund amounts to just 0.15%.
The ETF product offering on Xetra currently comprises a total of 302 exchange-traded index funds, making it the largest offering of all European stock exchanges. This selection, together with an average monthly trading volume of over 9 billion, makes Deutsche Brses XTF segment Europes leading trading venue for ETFs.
