New Head Of Private Banking Research Asia Pacific At Credit Suisse

Credit Suisse has has appointed Fan Cheuk Wan as head of Private Banking Research Asia Pacific. In her new role, Fan will be responsible for driving research across all asset classes in Asia Pacific, including Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.

Credit Suisse has has appointed Fan Cheuk Wan as head of Private Banking Research Asia Pacific.

In her new role, Fan will be responsible for driving research across all asset classes in Asia Pacific, including Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.

Based in Hong Kong, Fan will be a key member of a global research team at Credit Suisse, and reports to Giles Keating, global head of Research for Private Banking and Asset Management.

“Credit Suisse’s Private Banking division has a very strong team of top-quality researchers across Asia Pacific who, together with their colleagues in Europe, the US and the Middle East, offers our private banking clients a world class, dedicated global resource for investment decisions and portfolio construction. Under Fan’s leadership, we will further develop and enhance the bank’s ability to service our Private Banking clients and to assist our relationship managers in delivering outstanding investment solutions to our clients,” says Keating.

Fan joined Credit Suisse as head of Asia Pacific Equity Research for the Private Banking division in October 2006. Previously, she had ten years of experience in China equity research, as head of China Research for ABN AMRO, at Cazenove, BNP Peregrine and Standard Chartered Securities, as well as seven years in journalism including being political editor at the Hong Kong Economic Journal.

Fan is a graduate of the University of London, with a Master of Arts degree in China Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, as well as an MBA degree from the Imperial College.
