A new financial technology focused consulting venture has been created. Financial Technology Consulting Limited (FTCL) will focus on securities services and other companies operating within the financial technology industry.
London-based FTCLs target sectors include exchanges and all types of capital markets participants and infrastructures, payments, financial data, financial software as well as business process outsourcing, securities and trust services. The firm’s focus is on Europe and selected emerging markets, although the firm maintains trade and investor contacts in the US.
FTCL was launched by Alexis Thieriet, who, after 17 years (at Bankers Trust, Morgan Stanley, UBS and, lately, Hawkpoint) spent advising a wide range of financial technology, financial services and private equity clients on M&A and capital raising transactions.
