New CEO among string of leadership changes at Gen II Fund Services

Alongside the new CEO, the fund administrator has appointed a new president, chief administrative officer and head of client delivery and innovation.

Private capital fund administrator Gen II Fund Services has expanded its management team with several appointments including Steven Millner as its new chief executive officer.

Millner co-founded Gen II in 2009 and since then, has served as a managing principal and as a member of the firm’s executive committee.

Millner, alongside his co-founders, have over 25 years’ experience in the administration of private capital funds – having assisted with the launch of emerging managers as well as working with leading private capital fund managers.

Co-founder Steven Alecia, alongside Millner’s appointment, has been named president of Gen II, after previously serving as chief client officer.

Meanwhile, co-founder Norman Leben will step down as managing principal, continuing to serve as a senior advisor to the firm, a board member and will also help guide the firm’s European expansion.

Elsewhere, Michael Pollack has been appointed as head of client delivery and innovation. He joins from Pollack Consulting Group, where he served as founder and chief executive officer.

Prior to that, he served as managing director and global head of the portfolio analysis group at JP Morgan, as well as managing director and divisional chief financial officer of markets operations technology at Citigroup.

Alongside Pollack, Matthew Luongo has been appointed as chief administrative officer, joining from business management consulting firm, MJ Management Solutions, which he founded.

Prior to that, he held various executive level roles at CLS Bank, Cognizant Technology Solutions, UBS and American Express.
