B.I.S.S. Research has launched four special new awards for the best Corporate Actions system for Broker Dealer, Asset Manager, Custodian and Overall Sectors Winner.
“Over the many years of benchmarking Corporate Actions systems we have collated a huge data bank of information that details the true capability of the vendors systems. All Corporate Actions vendors that have entered their systems into the benchmarking in the past have been automatically included into this unique assessment and will therefore have an opportunity to win an award.
“All the scores from the B.I.S.S. Independent panels have been collated these will be added to this years Benchmarking in a formula based on percentages scored over the last 6 years. This allows the systems that have been developed most in recent years to be recognised in the market.
“The intention is to arrive at an overall winner in each market sector with a special award to the system that is top over all three sectors. The award will be announced after the 2008 Benchmarking results. I must emphasise that this new award runs parallel to the B.I.S.S. Accreditation. Following the launch of these awards it is anticipated that further awards in other technology sectors will follow in due course,” says Gary Wright, CEO, B.I.S.S.
