Singapore-based securities services and transaction banking consultancy firm AlfaSec Advisors has hired Dilip Kumar as a senior consultant.
In his new role, which is effective form Sept. 17 2013, Kumar will help the firm develop its practice on domestic market portfolio services and Institutional /Retail Registry and Transfer Agency. AlfaSec focuses on Asia and was started by custody industry veterans Giles Elliot and Roger Harrold in July.
Prior to joining AlfaSec Advisors, Kumar was Director – Product Head, Registrar & Transfer Agency, Asia & Middle East at Deutsche Bank, Singapore. He was responsible for building out the bank’s aspirations in putting up an infrastructure to support the Registrar & Transfer Agency business line for Asia & the Middle East resulting in a product platform that supported over a million retail investors.
