Socit Gnrale announces several appointments as of 1 October 2008 in corporate and investment banking, global investment management services and operating efficiency and innovation support functions.
Jean-Pierre MUSTIER, Chief Executive Officer of Socit Gnrale Corporate and Investment Banking, is appointed Head Global Investment Management & Services and will be appointed Chairman & CEO of Socit Gnrale Asset Management replacing Alain CLOT whose new position within the Group will be announced subsequently.
Jean-Pierre MUSTIER is a member of Socit Gnrales Executive Committee. He will be seconded by Sylvie RUCAR, Chief Operating Officer of Global Investment Management & Services and a member of Socit Gnrales Management Committee. In order to prevent potential conflicts of interest, the function of custodian carried out by Socit Gnrale for the investment companies in the SGAM Group, will be directly supervised by a Deputy CEO of Socit Gnrale.
Michel PRETI, is appointed Head Socit Gnrale Corporate and Investment Banking, as previously announced. He is a member of the Groups Executive Committee.
Philippe COLLAS, Chairman of SG Global Investment Management & Services, is appointed Senior Advisor to Frdric OUDEA, CEO. He is a member of Socit Gnrales Management Committee, as well as a member of the Groups Executive Committee for issues relevant to his areas of expertise.
Franoise MERCADAL-DELASALLES joins Socit Gnrale as Head of operating efficiency and innovation alongside Sverin CABANNES, Deputy Chief Executive Officer. She will be more specifically in charge of meeting the objectives set out by the Operating Efficiency Plan. In this capacity, she will be a member of Socit Gnrales Management Committee.
