South African institutional custodian Nedbank Investor Services (NIS) has been combined with the Securities and Custodial Services (SCS) division of the bank to create an integrated business called Nedbank Investor Services (NIS).
Louise Currie will take over from Rob Wassenaar (who takes early retirement) as General Manager, NIS Sales and Marketing. Richard Sampson will replace Chico Naidu (who moves to Business Banking) as General Manager, NIS Operations.
“It has been estimated to take between 4 to 5 weeks to finalise the structure and to take the business forward,” says a spokeswoman for NIS. “However, further developments will be communicated once finalised.”
