Sonic Software, the enterprise integration software specialists, say its SonicMQ technology will be part of the new air defence system the Thales Raytheon Systems Company is building for NATO in Europe. The company says its technology was preferred to TIBCO because of its “superior performance, as well as for its overall ease of integration and administration.”

In the NATO contract, Sonic Software will provide the integration services layer between several major software applications. “[The] selection of Sonic for the NATO project provides yet another example of truly superior technology gaining adoption in mission-critical scenarios,” says Greg O’Connor, president of Sonic Software. “This win adds to Sonic’s successes in government integration, which also include projects with the American Red Cross, Boeing Advanced Information Systems, Elections Canada, the City of Seattle and Northrop Grumman Mission Systems.”
