National IFA Positive Solutions has joined the EMX Message System, the electronic messaging service for the purchase, sale, valuation and settlement of mutual funds in the UK.
“By building a FIX connection to the EMX Message System, Positive Solutions have enabled their IFA partners to obtain real-time, electronic valuations of holdings,” says Tony Wood, Head of Sales and Marketing at EMXCo. “Once received, this data is automatically fired into their client record systems with no re-keying of data required thus allowing the IFA’s to devote more time to what is really important – providing a great level of customer service to their clients.”
Positive Solutions went live with a direct FIX connection to the EMX Message System at the end of last month and will initially use the platform to provide their IFA partners with the capability to obtain electronic valuations of holdings.
EMXCo says that, despite a recent increase in fees to users, the EMX Message System has enjoyed 17 months of month on month growth to May 2004 and now routes approximately Euros 960 million of funds flow per month.
Positive Solutions is one of 22 new companies to have joined the system since the beginning of 2004. Others include Winterthur, Investec, Franklin Templeton and JP Morgan Luxembourg.
