The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. announces the results of the semi-annual review of the OMX Nordic 40 index, which will become effective on Friday, 19 June 2009.
Getinge AB ser. B (GETI B), KONE Corporation (KNEBV), Novozymes B (NZYM B) and Outokumpu Oyj (OUT1V) will be added to the index.
As a result of the evaluation, the following four shares will be removed from the OMXN40 index: Atlas Copco B (ATCO B), Elisa Corporation (ELI1V), FLSmidth & Co. (FLS) and Neste Oil Corporation (NES1V).
The OMXN40 index is well diversified and has a close correlation with the NASDAQ OMX Nordic market. The index is easy to replicate and provides the perfect alternative for the investor that seeks exposure to this region. says Magdalena Hartman, vice president, Global Index Group.
