The Nasdaq Stock Market has acquired 35,404,265 shares in London Stock Exchange (LSE) from Threadneedle Asset Management Limited. It means Threadneedle has sold its entire holding. With a further purchase of 2,695,735 shares, NASDAQ now owns 14.99% of the issued share capital of the LSE. The total consideration represents approximately GBP 447.7 million (c. US$781.7 million).
