Mutual Fund Technologies (MFT), the specialist supplier of systems to the mutual fund management industry, has recruited Paul Taylor from Mellon to head the systems team within its Consulting Group.

At Mellon, Taylor was a senior member of the IT Management Team with specific responsibility for formulating Mellon’s European IT Strategy.

MFT says he brings “extensive experience in overseeing all aspects of systems development and business consulting within the Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting, Investment Management and Banking sectors.”

At MFT, Taylor will work within the Consulting Team, which aims to extend MFT’s traditional technology solution by further enabling customers to streamline the back office business process. “They deliver improved customer service, reduced error rates, better management information and have a proven ability in helping MFT customers dramatically to reduce their costs,” says MFT.

Taylor occupies a new position, created to service growing demand for MFT’s consultancy services, particularly in facilitating systems integration and maximising straight through processing opportunities among European fund management houses.

“I am delighted that Paul has decided to join MFT,” says Bob Milotte, Managing Director of MFT. “He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience that further demonstrates our commitment to providing added value services to all of our clients.”
