HSBC’s Corporate, Investment Banking and Markets (CIBM) business has appointed Jeffrey Smith as Global Head of Finance Company Coverage.
Smith has 27 years of experience in investment banking. Most recently, he was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley where he was Head of Investment Banking for the Specialty Finance industry. Smith joined HSBC in New York on 15 December and reports to Brian Robertson, Head of CIBM, Americas, and John Studzinski and Stuart Gulliver, Chief Executives of CIBM.
