Mitsubishi UFJ Hires Jim Coppola for Sec Lending Desk

Mitsubishi UFJ has hired Jim Coppola to manage the bank’s securities lending and repo trading desk, according to his LinkedIn profile.

He joins from Financial Tracking Technologies where he was director of strategic partnerships from November 2014. He has also previously headed the equity finance unit for UniCredit’s New-York based business, and co-head of sales for equity finance/securities lending at Societe Generale.

As with his previous roles, Coppola will continue to work in New York. His new role will involve managing Mitsubishi’s securities lending team, as well as repo and cash reinvestment.
