Mitsubishi UFJ Global Custody (MUGC) has expanded its relationship with software provider Linedata to implement its AIFMD regulatory reporting solution.

Since the introduction of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD), firms have been faced with additional data management challenges to meet regulatory requirements.

Linedata’s AIFMD reporting solution is an automated control suite addressing all aspects of AIFMD workflow, allowing MUGC to centrally manage and control their risk and reporting on over 185 funds.

“With the vast amounts of data from multiple and diverse sources, it can be a challenge to identify the exact information required by the regulators. Working with Linedata’s experts, we are able to better understand the complex requirements of AIFM Directive and implement a solution to solve our reporting needs,” says Jean-Francois Fortemps, managing director of MUGC Lux Management.
