Misys, the UK-based software company, announced today that pre-tax profits were up by 16 per cent to GBP 56 million in the second half of 2002. Sales were also 8 per cent higher, at GBP 517 million.
“Despite continuing difficult market conditions throughout the first half of the year, the Group’s trading results improved,” says Kevin Lomax, Misys Chairman. “These solid results derive from the essential nature of the markets we serve, the strength and diversity of our business activities and the skill and commitment of our experienced management teams.”
