Misys plc, the application software and services company, launches Misys Personal Finance Portal, its new solution for personal Internet banking.

Already live at the first client, Misys Personal Finance Portal delivers a secure, robust, and scaleable online banking solution for retail banking customers. In addition to the standard Internet banking features, such as balance checking, bill payment, fund transfers and online statements, the solution includes innovative features designed to help banks maximise the adoption of online banking among their personal banking customers.

Misys Personal Finance Portal includes a pre-packaged user-interface designed to be intuitive and customisable. Customers can access all their accounts and perform the most common tasks from a single service, giving them better control and visibility of their finances. Banks can also brand and customise the structure and format of the pages to match the different needs of their customer segments.

Customers are supported throughout the online banking experience with comprehensive and editable online help, FAQ pages, real-time validation of the data they enter and customers also have the option to send multiple types of transactions or secure messages to their bank.

Misys Personal Finance Portal offers a true enhancement over branch and telephone banking, enabling customers to self-service online for a wide range of tasks, such as stopping payments, checking payment status, checking transaction histories, managing lists of people and organisations they pay regularly, scheduling recurring payments such as direct debits and standing orders, setting-up SMS and email alerts, reporting lost cards or changing passwords.
