Misys Wis launching a new reporting module for its loan management product, Loan IQ. The new module is called DataNet.

Prior to the launch of DataNet, users of Loan IQ had to produce reports manually, by pulling data from the Loan IQ database into an access database. Technical staff would then draft reports as requested by business users, which was not only time consuming but also inefficient. Now, through a partnership with Cognos – a provider of business intelligence and enterprise planning software – users will have access to the Cognos business intelligence tool, which will automatically pull real-time, analytic and business reports from the Misys Loan IQ database. Reports can be set up to run automatically on a regular basis. Misys says this will save its customers time and money as well as helping them provide better customer service.

The solution provides customers with a pre-packaged set of reports and queries, so that it is easy for customers to use, although it can be customised as required. Reports can be as simple or as complex as the organisation needs and can include analytical tools such as charts and graphs to increase the functionality.

“Loan IQ provides a comprehensive tool to manage the entire lifecycle of a loan from origination and deal tracking to administration and record maintenance,” says Ed Ho, CEO Misys IQ & Opics. “By adding a reporting module to the solution we can now offer one of the most efficient and effective solutions available today.”
